Celebrating 20 years of Durham University Big Band, we are proud to release our anniversary EP, 'twenty'.

Throughout the years, we have strived to test the boundaries of the traditional big band idiom, and 'twenty' is a project that successfully executes this philosophy and encapsulates all the things that make DUBB unique. This dynamic and exciting EP explores a variety of genres and styles within just four songs. Not only does it display the talent of the members of the band, but it also does justice to the amazing arrangements that we have been fortunate enough to rehearse and perform, most notably Spanish Joint (Arr. Joey Penaliggon) and Diddy Bop (Arr. Chris Jones, Musical Director 14/15). 'twenty' has one eye on the past but simultaneously casts one eye to the future, and we are excited to see what the next twenty years have in store.
